Lucy Freels

Mrs. Lucy Neely Freels, 92 of Lancing, TN, formerly of Scott County, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. Lucy was born June 6, 1922 in Glenmary, TN. Lucy was an active member of her church, loved to quilt, cook and most of all loved the Lord her God and her family.

A member of the Church of Christ, she was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Edith McCartt Neely, Husband, Kenneth Freels, Four brothers; Frank, James, William and Benjamin Neely. One sister:Wanda Durham, One son, Thomas Freels, one grandson, Bradley Shannon, two sons-in-law, Emza Rose and Lloyd Shannon.

She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Frances Rose of Flatwoods, KY, Mrs. Audrey Shannon of Lancing, TN, and Mrs. Brenda Roberts and husband Sam of Maryville, TN
Three Sons: Roger Freels and wife Yolanda, David Freels and wife Ruby of Sunbright, TN and Kevin Freels and wife Sheila of Oneida, TN.
One Sister: Mrs. Ruth Fullbright of Sunbright, TN
One Special Daughter -in-law: Erika Hanes of Maryville, TN
14 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, 12 Great Great Grandchildren
Also surviving are Nieces, Nephews and Friends

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow with Bro. Stan Day and Bro. Doug Tooley officiating. Graveside Services will be Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 11:00AM in the Coal Hill Cemetery, Glenmary, TN
