Lou Goodman

Lou Ann Goodman, 72 of New River went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at her home. Lou Ann was born March 27, 1941 in New River to the late Raymond and Linda Hensley. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a loving and cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to those who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Herman Arnold Goodman, Infant daughter: Pamela, Brother: Glen Raymond Hensley, Sisters: Virgie Mae Goodman and Naomi Faye Hensley, Sister- In- Law: Jo Anne Hensley, Brother in law: Everett Goodman.

She is survived by her Daughters: Gwendlyn Carroll and husband Everett of New River, Chevonne Carroll of Oliver Springs and husband Michael of New River
Grandsons: Kevin Hensley and wife Jessica of New River, Michael A. Carroll and fiancAC.e: Chirstina Koski of Oliver Springs
Granddaughters: Samantha Kennedy of New River, Ashley Carroll and FiancAC.e Cody Justice of Wartburg
Great Grandsons: Kevin Arnold Hensley, Michael Jake Carroll, Brantley Jase Justice, and unborn Great Granddaughter: Arianna "Anna" Rose Kennedy,

The family will receive friends Friday, September 27, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg and also at the family home on Saturday after 12:00 noon.
Funeral services will be Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Free Communion Baptist Church, New River with Bro. Luke Ward and Bro. Kevin Ward officiating.
Interment will follow in the Phillips Cemetery, New River.
