Lori Lane, age 39, joined her Savior Jesus Christ December 6, 2011. She was preceded
in death by grandparents Floyd Shipwash, Dorothy Ross, and Claude Lane; great aunts
and uncles Tiny and Lawrence Langley, Carl and Juanita Miller and by her cousin,
Clinton McNeeley.

Survivors include son & Airman Darry LaRue, daughter Hayley Goodman, precious
grandson Levi Goodman, father Stonney Lane, mother Billie Lane, sister Lisa and her
husband Robert, brother Paul (Dusty) Lane and his wife Cheryl, several nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and her grandmother Nellie Shipwash. Lori also
leaves behind many lifelong friends and coworkers including Glenda Scott, Jennifer
Monroe, Diana Redmon, Kim Mathis, and Leigh Ann Wilks along with others dearly loved
and too numerous to count.

Lori was a school nurse at Central Middle School in Wartburg. She loved singing and
listening to music, reading and writing poetry, hiking, motorcycling and getting
together with friends and family. She supported the fight against breast cancer. She
stood up for the rights of the weak and afflicted. She fought a brave, lengthy
battle against bipolar disorder. When free of the devastating effect of this
disease, she was a devoted friend, loving mother and grandmother, precious daughter
and sister with fiery red hair, bright sparkling blue-green eyes and a personality
filled with love and laughter. She was dearly loved and will be forever missed and
never replaced.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer
Society or to the mental health agency of your choice.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 10 th , 2011, from 2 to 5 pm
followed by a celebration of Lori's life at Schubert's Funeral Home in Wartburg, TN.
