Lois Fowler

Lois Cathleen Morgan Fowler "Granny Kate" age 83 passed away March 27, 2014 at her home. She was born November 10, 1930 in Morgan County. She married James "Luke" Fowler in Georgia on February 1, 1949. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked at Kellwood for several years. She was always thinking of others and got great joy out of cooking for her family. She is preceded in death by her parents: Samuel and Ethel Kennedy Morgan, Sisters: Jessie Payne, Reba Payne, Gertrude Galloway, Brothers: Butch Morgan, Bill Morgan, Clem Morgan, J.V. Morgan and Truman Morgan.

She is survived by her son Danny and wife Pamela Fowler
Daughter: Carol and husband David Jones
Son: Rick and wife, Sue Fowler of Alabama
Grandchildren: Tracie Jones, Cora Lee Fowler, Mark Jones, Josh and Justin Fowler, Isaac and Benjamin Fowler
Great-Grandchildren: Connor Fowler, Dottie, Maddie and Katie Fowler, Brittany, Kirstie and Ashley Jones
Siblings: Lela Leach, Thurman Morgan, Erma Conn and a host of nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at Schubert Funeral Home, Sunbright. Funeral Services will follow at 4:00pm with Bro. Pat McGee officiating. Interment will be in the Union Grove Cemetery, Sunbright.
