Leon McPeters

Leon McPeters, Sr. of Wartburg passed away Friday October 31, 2014.
He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from General Motors.
He enjoyed hiking and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Grace Alice McPeters, grandson, Steven McPeters

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Faye McPeters,
Children, Leon, Jr. and Peggy, Wendell and Sena, Alice and Jerry, Misty
Grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Rick, Travis, April,
Great-grandchildren, Levi, Darian, Isabella, Remington, Isaac, Jaydon, Brooklyn, Bryce, Bea, Brynlee, Mason, and Paris
Brothers: Tommy, & Twin Brother Lewis.
Special friends, Ralph Nance, Dennis Whaley, Mike Dillbeck and Jr. Phillips

The family will receive friends Sunday November 2, 2014 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg
From 5-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday November 3, 1:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church Wartburg with Bro. David Acres, Dr. Paul Frick, and Bro. Ralph Nance officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery.
