Leola Nix, formerly of Burrville, TN

Leola Mae Nix passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at her home. She was born April 12th, 1933 in Burrville, Tennessee and was 83 years old. She was a loving mother and grandmother, she was a retired seamstress for LeeMar Shirt Company, and she enjoyed doing word puzzles in her spare time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sim Carson and Artie Fairchild Brown, sister, Jaunell Olmstead, brothers, Ernest Brown and Calvin Brown.

She is survived by Sons, Michael (Carolyn) Nix of Pulaski, Danny Nix of Lawrenceburg, Kenny (Angie) Nix of Culleoka, TN

Visitation will be Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home and 1 hour visitation prior to the funeral service.

Funeral service will be Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 2:00pm at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright, 7905 Morgan County Hwy, Sunbright, TN 37872.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Sunbright, TN 37872
