Mrs. Lennie Leona Peters MacDonald 83, was born May 18, 1930 to James Peters and Mamie Summer Peters (Pemberton). She passed away January 21, 2014 at her home in Sunbright, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, William James MacDonald; her parents, an infant brother, David William Pemberton and brother in-law, J.L. Davis.

She is survived by Sisters: Wiladean Davis of Sunbright, and Angela Morrow and husband Jim of Huntsville,
Aunt: Faye Summer Justice of Florida
She also leaves 3 Nieces and 3 Nephews
17 Great Nieces and Nephews
Many Cousins, family and friends

A graduate of Sunbright High School, she worked many years in both Washington DC and in Orlando Florida as an Executive Secretary. Leona loved music and as a young woman enjoyed playing the piano.

The family would like to thank especially the many medical and care-giving personnel who assisted with her care during her long illness.

The family will receive friends Thursday January 23 from 5:00-7:00 at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright. The funeral service will follow with Reverend Martha Ann Fairchild officiating.

Graveside service will be held Friday, January 24 at 12:00 pm in the Sunbright Cemetery.
