Lawrence Norris, of Lancing, TN

Lawrence Jay Norris of Lancing, went home to be with the Lord September 27, 2018. He was born July 7, 1944. He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church of Sunbright. He worked as a carpenter for years before he retired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay Norris and Christine Williams Norris, brother Sonny Norris, daughter Vicki Norris, and grandson Colby Melhorn. In-laws, Josie and Darlene Norris.

He leaves behind his wife Rhonda, children Tammy Carter of Sunbright, Connie and Shawn Gaylon of Kingston, Jackie and Patricia Norris, Larry Norris, Jamie Norris all of Deer Lodge, and Eddie and Kelly Norris of Lancing. Sisters Josie (Willard) Bowman, Betty (Fred) Cross, both of Deer Lodge. Brothers-In-Law, Tom (Sheila), and David, Sisters-In-Law, Judy Nance and Wanda Norris, both of Lancing. Grandchildren, Heather (Chase), Hayley (Lucas), Courtney (Lucas), Christina, Kayla, Kenneth, Zack, Riley, Andrea, Sunny, Kyla, Jordan, and Gunter. Great grandchildren, Zoe, Lexi, Chloe, Brady, Chase, Ryleigh, Daylon, Braaklynn, Tanaya, Skylan, Ashton, Marley, and Dakota. Many nieces, nephews, and special friend that was always like a brother, Grover Pittman.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 2pm at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Sunbright. Bro David Webb officiating.
