Lavone Fullbright

Mr. Lavone Fullbright, of Sunbright, went home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2010 at the age of 86. He attended Sunbright Baptist Church. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Fullbright has been retired from TDOT for 21 years. His favorite hobbies was fishing and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Wesley and Ruby (Buchanon) Fullbright.
Mr. Fullbright is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ruth (Neely) Fullbright; three daughters: Nelda (Fullbright) Reagan and husband Dennis, Patrice (Fullbright) Brown and husband Mike, all of Sunbright, and Rhonda (Fullbright) Jackson and husband Dewitt from Sylvania, Al; son, Dwayne Fullbright and wife Gayle (Parsons) of Kingston; ten grandchildren: Suzan (Varga) Gifford of Valley Head, AL, Crystal (Reagan) Shannon and Stephanie (Reagan) Sexton of Sunbright, Travis Brown of Gallatin, Shasta Brown of Oliver Springs, Heath Jackson and Tyler Jackson of Sylvania, AL, Heather (Wright) Freels of Oak Ridge, Tiffany Fullbright of Jamestown, and D.J. Fullbright of Sunbright; and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 1, 2011 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Sunbright. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Herb Judkins and Bro. Sonny Works officiating. A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 2nd at 2:00 p.m. in the Sunbright Cemetery.
