Laura Heidle

Laura Edna Wilson Heidle, age 93 passed away Monday, February 8, 2016. Laura lived her whole life in the Joyner community of Morgan County. She and Browder Heidle were married for 701/2 years before his death in 2013. Also preceding her in death is one son, Lloyd Heidle; parents, David and Maude Wilson; sister, Jimmie Sweat; brothers, Clifford Wilson and Boyd Wilson.
Survivors include her children, Sharon and Herbert Redmon, Wartburg and Jeff and Vickie Heidle, Clinton; grandchildren, Dr. Eric Redmon (April), Big Sky, Montana and Sara Goss (Matt), Wartburg; great-grandchildren, Evan, Grace and Alex Redmon and Jenna and Jonas Goss; sister, June Wilson, Joyner.

She enjoyed gardening and preparing wonderful meals for her family. She read every page of the News Sentinel each day. She also enjoyed reading magazines, letters and cards and a variety of books including those by Billy Graham and Zane Gray. Her Bible was also well worn. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and really liked gospel music, especially The Chuck Wagon Gang.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:30PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 2:30PM with Dr. Paul Frick officiating. Interment will be in the Union Church Cemetery.
