Larry Chaney of Harriman, TN

Rev. Larry Chaney, age 71, passed away October 27, 2018 at the Harriman Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was the “Jack of all Trade” kinda guy who loved fishing, camping, working on vehicles and was pastored Emory Gap Independent Church of God in Rockwood for several years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Doris Chaney; nephew, Billy Jack Chaney and several uncles and aunts.

He is survived by his children, Amanda, Jacob and Caleb Chaney; siblings, Troy (Betty) Chaney, Charles Eugene (Brenda) Chaney, Rita Justice and Shelby (Richard Jr.) Brown; special uncle, Eddie Frank Nichols and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and special friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Bro. Eddie Frank Nichols and Bro. Eugene Chaney officiating. Graveside will be Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 1:00 in the Petros Cemetery.
