Kyla Briggs of Wartburg, TN

Kyla Louise Briggs born, November 27, 1950 went to be with Jesus Sunday, December 8, 2019.

She was a faith believing Christian that loved her husband of 54 years, her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her dogs, Bella and Jaxson and loved all things outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alberta Fowler; father, Ronald Fowler; sisters, Eileen Hardison, Loraine McGahen and mother-in-law, Violet Briggs.

She is survived by her loving husband, George Sonny Briggs; 3 sons, James (Christy) Briggs, Buddy (Kenja) Briggs and David (Christie) Briggs; 7 grandchildren, Christopher Briggs, Brandon (Katie) Briggs, Chelsea Briggs, Sydney Roberts, Savannah Daniels, Kaylie Jackson and Chase Jackson; 5 great grandchildren, Peyton and Parker Briggs, Memphis Hall, Caleesia and Ivar Truitt and coming soon Everleigh; 1 sister, Donna (Terry) Carney.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Schubert Funeral Home from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Paul Frick officiating.  The family will have a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers the family ask for contributions be sent to Schubert Funeral Home, P.O. Box 326. Wartburg, TN  37887 contributions will go toward funeral expense.
