Kurlin Kennedy, of Petros, TN

Kurlin Kennedy age 61, died Monday, October 16, 2017 at his home in Petros. He was born in Campbell County, April 17 1956 to the late Kyle Kennedy and Nancy Kennedy who lives in Petros.

Kurlin was preceded in death by his father, Kyle Kennedy of Petros; brother, Carvin Kennedy of Petros; sister Brenda Sue Hensley of Wartburg; nephew, Phillip Armes of Petros; stepson, Jamie Brock of Petros and daughter, Crystal Ward Kennedy of Petros.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Kennedy of Petros; mother, Nancy Kennedy of Petros; daughter, Denise and Mark Singleton of Brodhead, KY and daughter, Angela Cromer Kennedy of Crab Orchard, KY; son, Jeremiah Kennedy of Petros; daughters, Angela Amadon Kennedy and Tawana Pyles of Somerset, KY; brother, Ray Kennedy of Oak Ridge, TN; sisters, Linda and Lonnie Lowe, Wanda and Bill Armes, Norma and Cotton Armes, Dean and Lonnie Bunch and Lorene Kennedy all of Petros; grandchildren, Makayla Singleton of Brodhead, KY., Destiny, Willie “Bubba”, and Cheyenne Ashley of Crab Orchard, Michael and Amber Amadon, Andrew and Katelyn Collins of Somerset, KY., James and Jeffrey Ward of Stoney Fork, TN and a great granddaughter.

He will also be remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends as well as the community of Petros and will be missed by all. Special friends, Billy Lay, Eugene Chaney and Betty Taylor.

Kurlin enjoyed spending time with is grandchildren and visiting family. He spent his life working in cable and construction. He also enjoyed riding his bike. He loved collecting a variety of items. He has left so many memorable moments in the hearts of many.

The family has chosen a private memorial service at a later date.
