Kathryn Cook

Kathryn Schubert Cook, 80, of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 2, 2015.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Marion G. Cook; daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie and Curtis Goff of Cleveland and Allison and Scott Lowrey of McKinney, TX; four grandchildren, Lauren Goff Bonner (Mitch) of Springfield, MO, Jordan Goff (Rachael) of Cleveland, Taylor Lowrey and Matt Lowrey of McKinney; one great granddaughter, Kathryn Grace Goff of Cleveland; sister, Margaret Schubert Solomon of Wartburg, TN; one niece; two nephews; and several cousins.

Kathryn was the daughter of the late Ray W. and Buna Schubert of Wartburg. She was a graduate of Carson- Newman College and a faithful member of First Baptist Church, where she served many years.

Kathryn enjoyed her work as a social worker for several years at the Department of Human Services and then at the Bradley County Nursing Home. She loved to talk with people and hear their stories. She was truly a lady of grace and a true friend to all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Tom Wickes and Scott Lowrey officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 4 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
