Kathleen Walker, of Wartburg, TN

Kathleen Esther Walker, 50, was born May 15th 1970 and Passed on November 22nd 2020.

She is preceded by her mother Concepción Esther Smith, her grandfather José Augustine Sanchez, and grandmother Esther Sanchez. She is survived by her loving husband Shannon Andre Walker, devoted son Jared Michael Walker, Father Jonathan Vern Smith and wife Paula Smith, Aunt Patricia Sanchez and Uncle Joseph Sanchez, and brother Michael Smith.

Kathleen enjoyed a humble life full of love and utmost devotion to family, Faith in God and charitable service. She was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida then was residing in Wartburg, Tennessee at the time of her death. Kathleen passed in University of Tennessee Medical Center Emergency Room due to complications with cancer.

She loved feeding and watching the birds around her house, classic rock, Chinese, Cuban, and Italian cuisine, and felt a very healing, therapeutic connection with the beach and the sea. Kathleen had a strong  Christian faith, loving Jesus Christ with all she had. Her wishes were to be cremated and scattered out at sea off the Atlantic Coast along with her mother’s cremains.

She was and always will be deeply loved, treasured, honored, and missed. She could never be traded for anything at all that this life had to offer and always loved, as she’s always said, “I love you to the moon and back times infinity, forever and always..”

The family is honoring Kathleen’s wishes to be cremated.
