Katherine WILSON

Mrs. Katherine Wilson, born and raised in Petros, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in Carrolton, GA. She attended Central High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Herbert and Dorothy Hunter; sisters: Della Foster and Dolly Evertt; and brothers: Frank Watson and Verlon Hunter; and half-sisters: Ada Itres, Mary Helen, and Lois Gertrude.

She is survived by her husband, John Henry Wilson; Children: John Wilson Jr.and wife, Annette, Susan (Wilson) Hudgins and husband, Doyle, and Anthony Wilson; grandchildren: Jason Hudgins, Olivia Hudgins, Michael Morgan, Tabitha Hudgins, Crystal Hudgins, Hunter Wilson, Cassandra (Wilson) Reece and husband Jonathan, and Pvt. Jimmy Wilson; great grandchildren: Landon Hudgins, Paula Hudgins, Joshua Reece, and Thomas Reece; and Brothers: Jr Hunter and wife, Elaine and Don Hunter.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening, May 8th from 6 to 9 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Mrs. Wilson will lie in state Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. with funeral services to follow at the Church of God of Prophesy in Petros. Bro. Stewart Slone and Bro. Tony Cathy will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Petros Cemetery.
