Karen Hannah

Mrs. Karen Lynn Hannah, age 47 of Wartburg, passed away Friday December 18, 2009 at Methodist Medical Center following a short battle with lung cancer. She was born Dec. 25, 1961 in Harriman, TN. The daughter of James E. and Dorothy Summers of Wartburg. Karen loved life, her husband and her family, she liked to travel , gardening, crafts, and flowers. She also loved Coalfield and UT football. In addition to her parents ,
She was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Southerland in 2002.

She is survived by husband, Harold Hannah of Wartburg;
stepdaughters Arvella Smith and Robin Francis, both of Harriman. She also leaves behind five step-grandchildren.
Brothers Donnie (Dianna) Summers, Richard (Jodi) Summers, both of Wartburg, James (Chris) Summers of Yuma, Arizona;
Sisters; Sandra (Walt) Miller of Kingston, TN and Melissa (Wayne) Davis of Bitter Creek area. Adopted sister Pearl (Jerry) Campbell of Wartburg.
Also a host of nieces and nephews , as well as special friends, Donna Armes of Wartburg . Kathy Presley of Harriman, and Ruthie Tindell of Lake City, TN.

Family will receive friends Sunday December 20, 2009 from 1-2 p.m at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg
Funeral services will follow with Bro Bill Goodman officiating
Graveside services will be held Monday December 21, 11 a.m in the Nelson Cemetery
