J.W. Northrup

J.W. Northrup, retired home improvement contractor, age 71, of Joelton, TN passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 at his residence.

J.W. was born June 20, 1948 in Lancing, TN, to the late John Melvin and Elizabeth “Sally” (Seabolt) Northrup of Sunbright, TN.  He was also preceded in death by son, Gregory Allen Northrup, Gregory’s mother, Letha Foster and sister, Betty (Bill) Beach.

J.W. is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann (Ryan) Northrup; son, J.W. Northrup, JR.; daughters, Donna (Dan) Chandler, Paula (Victor) Abbott, Melissa Northrup; 17 grandchildren, Hanna, Adnrew, Nicholas, Cody Trye, Tiea, Amanda, Letha, Perry, Steven, Kaitlyn, Sara and Garrett, Kristy, Jericho and Brandon; 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a “whole lot of cousins” as J.W. would have put it.

Graveside services will be help at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Sunbright, TN., Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon with a family Celebration of Life following the service.
