JP Morgan of Sunbright, TN

J.P. (Omer) Morgan age 87, of Sunbright passed away September 30, 2018 in the Life Care Center of Morgan County.  He was an Army Korean War Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Cora Morgan; parents, George and Clara Morgan; siblings, George (June Bug) Morgan, Louis Morgan and Clovis (Dubie) Morgan.

He is survived by his children, Joyce Spurling of Radcliff, KY., J.P Morgan, Jr. of Deer Lodge, TN. and Julie (Jimmy) Jones of Wartburg; 3 grandchildren, Chris (Alicia) Spurling of Tampa, FL, Jaime Spurling of Elizabethtown, KY and Shelby Jones of Cookeville, TN; 3 great grandchildren, Devon Spurling, Adrianna Hernandez and Mazen Spurling and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends, Friday, October 5, 2018 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Greenwood Chapel Church in Deer Lodge with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Frank Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
