Joyce Smith, of Oliver Springs, TN

Joyce Ann Patterson Smith, age 78 of  the Stephens Community, formerly of the Rosedale Community, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Methodist Medical Center of

Oak Ridge. She was a member of the Big Mountain Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents: Archie and Lucille Patterson, Brothers; Eugene Williams, Harold Williams, James Williams and Lawrence Patterson, Son-in-laws; Ernie Fletcher, and Mart Kennedy.

Surviving are her children:  Greg Patterson (Betty Bunch), Everette (Gwelen) Carroll, Michael Carroll (Tammy Justice), Patricia Kennedy, Dova Fletcher (Lonnie) and Jerry Carroll

Special  Brother-in-law; Herbie Carroll

Sisters;  Bobbie Sebier and Shirley Spurlock.

12 grandkids, 13 great grandkids and 1 great great grandkid.

She is also survived by her beloved pet companion Molly.

Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 5-7 pm Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg.  Funeral Services will follow at 7 pm with Bro. Otis Phillips officiating.  Graveside services will be Monday, 11 am Anderson Memorial Gardens, Clinton, TN.
