Johnny Hamby, of Wartburg, TN

Johnny Hamby age 56, of Wartburg passed away July 3, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born September 13, 1962.

He was a member of Cedar Bluff Community Baptist Church in Knoxville. He was also a loving husband and step-father.

He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Hamby; niece, Jessica Hamby and father-in-law, Richard Young.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Hamby; step-son, Josh Wells; step-daughter, April Wells; mother, Dossy Hamby; grandchildren, Faith, Jeremiah and Bentley Wells; sister, Kathy (Don) Stohrer of Seymour; brothers, Dennis (Tabitha) Hamby, Joe (Patsy) Hamby, Randy (Phyllis) Hamby and Raymond (Cheryl) Hamby all of Wartburg; special friends, Kelly and Tammy and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 5, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Dustin Bonham and Bro. David Armes officiating.  Graveside service will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Family Cemetery.
