John "Johnny" Newton Cline III, age 63, of Andersonville, formerly of Wartburg, passed away, December 8, 2022. He was raised in Rockwood, Tn. Johnny moved to Wartburg in 1990 with his wife Patricia, and daughter Samantha.
Johnny was a welder for many years, he then worked for PCI for several years, before he was unable to work any further.
Johnny never met a stranger. Once he made a friend, they would then be his friend for life. He enjoyed classic country music, singing, and dancing. Johnny also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He taught his grandson, Holden, how to fish and would take him every chance he got. It was something he had taught his daughter to do, and he carried on the tradition with Holden. He loved spending time with his grandsons and doing what he could with them. Johnny and his daughter loved working together in their garden at home. Most of all he loved his daughter and grandchildren unconditionally. He was a proud papaw and he let everyone know.
Johnny was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Devonia.
