John Shannon

John Robert "Bob" Shannon, born November 8, 1945 unexpectedly passed away and went to be with the Lord on Monday June 13th, 2016. Bob was the loving husband of Ada Pauline Shannon, whom he married on June 6th, 1964. They were married for 52 loving years. Bob was the loving father of Jason Ray (Samantha) Shannon and Paula (Joe) Lee Shannon and Loretta Shannon. Bob was a loving grandfather to three beautiful grandchildren, whom he loved with all his heart, Richard (Ashley) Lee Cope, Jacob Ray Shannon, and Lindsey Danielle Shannon and a great granddaughter he loved deeply as well, Chloe Grace Cope. Bob worked in construction for most of his life and owned and operated his own construction company with his son for over 17 years until he retired. Bob loved Jesus and loved attending church every Sunday with his family at Community Christian Fellowship in Morrow, Ohio. In his free time he loved listening to his family play and sing music for him. Bob is preceeded in death by his father, Alfred Lee Shannon and his mother Frankie Smith Shannon. Brothers Theodore Shannon, James Shannon, and Conway Vaden. Sisters Aileen Morgan, Larleen Human, Evelyn Stringfield, Helen Bunnell, Ruth Alexander and Birdie June Shannon. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Ada Pauline Shannon. Son Jason (Samantha Shannon), Daughter Paula (Joe) Shannon. Grandchildren Richard (Ashley) Cope, Jacob Shannon, and Lindsey Shannon. Greatgrandchild Chloe Cope. Brothers Albert Shannon, and Harvey Shannon. Sister Charlene Sureth.
