John Nelson

John Martin Nelson, age 77, of Lancing passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014. He is best known for being a great butcher in Morgan County for 52 years. He loved Hunting and talking with everyone, and enjoying life. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his father Swell Nelson, mother Doshie (Goddard) Nelson Davis, brothers: Lester & Bill Nelson, sisters: Irene Nelson & Louraine Nelson Eldridge.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Wilva Potter Nelson

Also surviving is a host of other relatives and friends.
He was loved dearly & will be missed every day.

The family will have a private service and then a Graveside Service with Bro. Bill Durham officiating, everyone welcome, on Monday, March 31, 2014, 11 am at the Clear Creek Cemetery Lancing, TN, Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg in charge of all the arrangements.
