John Lee

John Arnold Lee a born again Christian, age 60 of Wartburg was called home to be with the Lord on September 13, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel "Ed" Lee and a grandson, Isiah Davidson.

He was a member of the Harriman High School class of 1969 where he excelled as a football player in 1968 & 1969.
He was a Vietnam Marine Corps Veteran earning a meritorious mast while serving with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, Fifth Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, III MAF. He also earned the following medals: National Defense, Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnam Campaign, Vietnam Service and qualified as a Rifle Sharpshooter.

He is survived by his Mother: Mary Lou Lee of Wartburg, TN
Children: Ian "Dujee" Bowling & wife Chastiy, Hank Moss, Shawn Long, Ashleigh Bryant and Aimee Bryant Davidson
Grandchildren: Tyler and Ayden Blaise Bowling and Jordan Katz

Also surviving are several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend to all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends Friday evening September 16, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M. Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg with funeral services following with Bro. James Willis & Bro. Mike Ladd officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday 11 A.M. Armes Chapel Cemetery, Wartburg.
