John Windsor Hook, age 81, of Knoxville formerly of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at 1:51 p.m. He was a member of Jefferson United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge, LA. and a former choir member. He served in Army Intelligence and was a graduate of the University of Central Florida.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Margaret Moreland Hook. Brother, Danny.
He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Elise Aytes Hook; sons, John Douglas Hook and wife Kathy of Thonotosassa, Florida; Dr. Randolph Clinton Hook and wife, Celinda and granddaughter, Jaden of Lutz, Florida; and Mark Stephen Hook and wife Cheryl, and granddaughters, Rebekah and Rachel of Lawrenceville, Georgia; sister-in-law, June Hook of Fillmore, Utah; brother-in-law, Willis Aytes and wife Sandra of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Anna Aytes of Denver; brother-in-law, Costen Aytes and wife Paula of Denver.
The family will have a graveside service Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Frankfort Cemetery in the Frankfort Community.
