John Crites

Mr. John C. (Jack) Crites, age 84 of Lancing went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 21, 2012 peacefully at his home. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church where he enjoyed going. He loved the outdoors, gardening and spending time with friends and family, especially all of his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father; May and Jim Kerr, mother-in-law and father-in-law; Hugh and Grace Swint.

He is survived by his loving wife, Reba (Swint) Crites,
Sisters; Jane and Jim Welsh of Frederick, MD, Imogene Fairall of Cumberland, MD.
Son, Kevin and wife Misty Crites of Sunbright, daughters, Bonnie and husband Ronnie Lowdermilk of Cumberland, MD, Vicky and husband Lowell Boehmes of Keyser, W. VA, Sheila Crites and Robert Crissy of Cumberland, MD, Brenda and husband Ed Robey of Cumberland, MD, son, Mark Crites of FL.
Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Also a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
The family will receive friends Monday evening, April 23, 2012 at Schubert Funeral Home from 6-8:0 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 at Elizabeth Baptist Church with Bro. Buster Armes officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery
Schubert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
