John Arvil Carson

John Carson was born and raised in Oneida, TN and was a truck driver for 20+ years. His hobbies and interests included working on cars, fishing, games, carpentry, basketball, football, boxing, wrestling, music, and racing. He found happiness in spending time in nature and with his family.

Preceded in death by his father Arvil Carson his mother Myrtle Babb Carson his brothers Danny, Bruce, and Arvil Carson Jr. his sister Denna Lynn Carson his brother-in-law Tommy Terry.

Survived by life partner Sandy Mills Lloyd; children: Hunter and wife Shawnee Carson, Cody and wife Autumn Lloyd, Aaron and wife Laura Beth Lloyd; Grandchildren; Eli and Casie Carson, Gabe and Grayson Barnes, Dexter and Luke Lloyd; Brother; Dean and wife Ruthie Carson; Sisters Valerie and husband Donnie Terry, Rose Terry; nieces and nephews: Vanessa and Jamie Mays, Becky and Colby Russ, Gina and Benji Foust, and Jared and Amanda Terry.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 19, 2024 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 11:00-1:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Carson Family Cemetery in Oneida.
