John Blair, of Sunbright, TN

John Franklin Blair III. Of Sunbright, TN passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John Franklin II. and Janice Bruce Blair; uncle, Ray Ashbrook of Cincinnati, OH; aunts, Marsha Welter, Penny Lay of Kingston, TN and Ruby Edna Ashbrook of Sunbright.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Lee Blair of Sunbright, TN; sisters, Rebecca Blair Gunter of Huntsville and Denise Blair of Sunbright, TN; grandfather, Henry Ashbrook of Stearns, KY; uncles, Bob Ashbrook of Sunbright, TN, Tom Ashbrook of Cincinnati, OH; aunts, Pamela Ashbrook of Cincinnati, OH Kay Bruce of Winter Garden, FL; step-daughter, Shawnee Raines and fiancé’, Hunter Carson, Eli Raines and Cassie Carson  all of Oneida, TN; nephews, JT Foltz of Sunbright, TN, Chance Gunter of Huntsville, TN, Logan Gunter of Huntsville, TN, and great nephew, Atley Foltz of Sunbright; “honorary” brothers, Brad Walker of Sunbright and Les Melton of Oakdale and several friends and several cousins.

The family will be having a memorial service at a later date.
