John Benny Armes

Benny Armes of the Pine Orchard community Oakdale TN Born January 26, 1966 peacefully went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2024.

Benny suffered a long battle with pain and health issues, but now he’s entered into eternal peace and joy where he will suffer no more pains and strife of this life. Benny loved going to Church singing gospel songs, playing his guitar and harmonica’s. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with friends at the American Legion Post 112 Veterans Organization in Oliver Springs TN, until he was physically unable to be there. Benny was a member at the Pine Orchard Baptist Church Oakdale.

Preceded in death by his parents Ruby and Roosevelt Armes. Three brothers Robert, Randy and Marty Armes. And nephew Jeremy Beard. Survived by his son Jason and wife (Christina)Armes. Grandchildren Kayla, Jaylee, and Jackson Armes.

His sisters Chris (Bill) Brackett, Ella (Jeff) Beard and one brother Sonny (Sarah) Armes. Nephews, nieces and their families Devin (Nikki) Brackett, Matthew (Mary) Armes, Shawn (Shauna) Armes, Jeffery (Donita) Beard, and Justin Beard, Sonya (Kevin) Swint, Mindy (Dustin) Grumbles, Amy (Paul) Duncan and Benny’s good friend Fran.

Special thank you’s go to Benny’s infusion nurses Michelle and Jacob. To the Quality Home Health Care; Jansen, Whitney, Carey and Matt. And also to all of the Roane Medical Center ICU unit nurses.

Family will receive friends Sunday December 1st, 2024 at Pine Orchard Baptist Church Oakdale from 3-4:00 with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 with Reverend Ronnie Nickell and Reverend Dennis Armes officiating.
