Joe Houston of Lancing, TN

Joe L. Houston, 77 of Lancing, TN passed away January 22, 2019.

Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Mamie Houston; brothers, John Houston, M.C. Houston and Lee Houston; sisters, Ruby Galloway and Mary Houston.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Houston of 31 years; son, Robert Houston; daughter, Betty Lee; step son, Johnny Freytag; 2 grandsons, Randy Freytag and Bradley Lee; sister, Pearl Hines and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 25, 2019 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Paul Frick officiating. Interment will follow in the Island Ford Cemetery in Lancing.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions will be made to Schubert Funeral Home, P.O. Box 326, Wartburg, TN  37887
