Jo Hammonds

Jo Mullins Hammonds, age 75, went home to be with our Lord, Friday, August 29, 2014. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and resided in Harriman, TN. She impacted so many lives in such a sweet and lasting way. She will be deeply missed and loved forever. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Marrison "Tubby" Hammonds; parents, John and Stella Mullins; sisters, Willie Hicks and Betty Johnson; and brother, Fred Mullins.

She is survived by her two devoted daughters, Jana Hammonds Gouge (Earnest) and Jae Hammonds Brown (Rick) of Wartburg
Treasured Grandchildren, Noah and Jacey Gouge, Cade and Banner Brown, and Erin Parks
Siblings, Bonnie Swicegood, Charles Mullins, Shirley Harmon, and Garland Mullins of Harriman
Sister/life-long best friend Melba James of Cleveland, TN
Special niece, Jenny Mullins of Knoxville
Dedicated Sister-in-law, Mary Phillips of Oliver Springs
Also surviving is a wealth of nephews, nieces and special friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 11am to 2 pm at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 2pm with Rev. Will Gouge officiating, interment will follow.
