J.L. Adkins

J.L. Adkins, age 67 of Deer Lodge went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday September 16, 2014 surrounded by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Luther and Ruth Adkins.

J.L. is survived by his wife of 50 years: Dorothy Hammond Adkins
Children: Greg Adkins and wife Charlene of Crossville, Connie Hawn and husband Mike of Deer Lodge, Michial Adkins and wife Susan of Corryton, TN , Jerry Adkins and wife Vickie of Deer Lodge, Denise Human and husband Jonathan of Deer Lodge
Grandchildren: Greg II, Derek and fiance Ashley, Ryan and wife Tessa, Keisha and husband Dustin, Preston, Madelyn, Elijah, Lydia, Benjamin, Issac
Step- grandchildren, Jason Kirkland and wife Amber, Jennifer Clark and husband Harley,
Great-grandchildren, Camden, Hunter and Mason.
Sisters: Cleta Cole of Deer Lodge, Norma Clark of Indiana
Several Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends

The family will receive friends Friday, September 19, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 2:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Durham officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Deer Lodge, TN.
