Jimmy Sutton

Jimmy Russell Sutton age 69 of Rockwood, TN passed away Monday October 1, 2012 at his residence. He was the son of Jake and Mammie Sutton. Jim retired from TVA Kingston Fossil Plant as third shift foreman in 1999. He was a lifetime member of the Rockwood Post 50 American Legion and served as Commander and Adjuntant. He was also a member of the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard where he was a past commander. Jim was preceded in death by his daughter Kimberly Ann.

Son: Jimmy Sutton and wife Suzi of Wartburg, Tennessee
Brother: Award Vick Sutton and wife Gloria, Rockwood, Tennessee
Sister: May Ingram of Rockwood Tennessee
Brothers in Law: David Rutherford and wife Linda and George Rutherford of Bean Station and Johnnie Rutherford and wife Bambi of Keno, Kentucky
Grandchildren: Ryan Rowland and Victoria Harrison of Rockwood
Morgan and Rusty Rowland, Mavry Sutton and Madison and Chip Merick of Seabrook, Texas
Great-Granddaughter: Kaelyn Merick

The family will receive friends Wednesday October 3, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 11:00am at Mt Vernal Independent Baptist Church in the Mt..Vernal Community with Rev. Mike Nelson, Rev. Wayne Nelson and Rev. Charles Webb officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, on Smith Mtn. Road in Cumberland County.

The family requests that Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rockwood American Legion Auxillary Veterans Emergency Fund or The Roane Memorial Military Honor Guard.
