Jerry D. Wilkie, of Wartburg, TN

Jerry Dean Wilkie, born March 6, 1946 left for his heavenly home Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Life Care Center of Morgan County.

Jerry was a lifelong resident of Wartburg, graduating from Central High School in 1964. He retired from Morgan County Correctional Facility in 2008. He was a proud member of the Mountain Shadow Car Club where he served as Vice President. He was a faithful member of Valley View Baptist Church in Harriman.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Ruby Wilkie; son, Douglas Wilkie.

He is survived by his daughter, Christy Wilkie; brother, Charles (Ann) Wilkie; wife, Carolyn Wilkie; grandchildren, Dustin and Bailey Wilkie, Jalen and Courtney Wilkie; special nieces and nephews, Debbie Wilkie Williams, Teresa (Cecil) Wilkie McCarty, Wayne (Kayleigh) McCarty, Bryson Dean McCarty and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Josh Kidd and Bro. Doug Green officiating. Graveside will be Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Piney Cemetery in Oakdale.
