James Stone

Age 76, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016. He was born March 6, 1939 in Deer Lodge, TN, the son of James F. and Anita (Ryan) Stone. He served honorably in the U.S. Army. Jay was a mechanic in the Ypsilanti area for many years. He loved to fish and hunt. Survivors include: four children, Jay, Jeff, Mike and Dylan; several grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Jones and Rose Edenburn; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Fred Stone and two sisters, Jackie Mracna and Judy Stone. Jay will be buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Deer Lodge, TN. There will be a memorial service at a later date at Evangelical Friends Church, 7890 Tuttle Hill Road, Ypsilanti, MI.
