James Gibson of Lancing, TN

James “Gary” Gibson went home to be with the Lord, January 4, 2019 at his home in Lancing.  He was born on July 27, 1947.  He was very loved by many people. Gary never met a person that he didn’t know.  He loved to talk to everyone he came across.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James W. and Martha Lively Gibson.

He is survived by his sisters, Janice West, Sheila Gibson, Noami Hunter, Christine Gibson, Loretta Dollar, Margaret Messmore, Carolyn Patton and Joan Payne; brother, Richard Gibson, Chester Bullock and Tommy Gibson; special friends, Clifton Hines, Jessica Phillips, Glenda Morgan, Mackinsey Phillips and a host of nieces and nephews and many others.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Johnny Bell and Bro. Tim Wilson officiating.  Graveside to follow in the Hines Cemetery in Lancing.
