James Anderson

James Edward Anderson, age 73, of Oliver Springs, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge surrounded by his family.

He was born on April 17, 1943 and was a member of the Petros community most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robin and Georgia Cross Anderson, a brother, Robert Lee Anderson, a sister, Shelby Montgomery and a nephew, Shawn Anderson.

He is survived by his sons, Benny Anderson and wife Amy of Oliver Springs, Jeff (J.J.) Anderson and wife Shannon of Harriman and Johnny Anderson and companion Brenda of Oliver Springs; grandchildren, Kerri Duncan, Cody Anderson, Lacie Armes, Leslie Anderson and Dewayne Moore; step-grandchildren, Heather Williams and Chris Hamock; great-grandchildren, Jordynn Anderson and Raelynn Wilson; and step-great-grandchildren, Eligha and Kadence Williams. He is also survived by a brother, Vic Anderson and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Dr. Don Long officiating. Interment will follow at the Old Petros Cemetery School House Hill Rd., Petros
