Jack Tinch, of Sunbright, TN

Mr. Jack Archie Tinch Jr, age 77 of Sunbright, TN went home to be with the Lord, Monday, November 27, 2017 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.

Mr. Tinch was born June 9, 1940 in Sunbright, TN.; he was a retired military veteran and served faithfully and honorably in the United States Army, with tours of duty in several countries including Vietnam, South Korea and Germany.

He had many interests including fishing, trading, flowers, gardening and running around with his wife.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herschel Archie Tinch and Gladys (Burchell) Tinch, and two brothers, Rondel and Denver Tinch; father and mother-in-law, Henry and Flora Tackett.

He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years Ruby (Tackett) Tinch; 3 sisters, Beverly Adamson, Sharon and husband, Harold Tompkins and Laurel Tinch; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carrie Tinch, Huber Heights, OH., Betty Young of Sunbright, TN., Henrietta and husband Archie Bullock, Sunbright, TN., Wanda Bullock and Veltina Phillips both of Caryville, TN., Norman Tackett and Jewell of Lafollette, TN., a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and special friends who will love and miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Willard Gunter, Bro. John Bonham and Bro. Lynn Gaylon officiating. Graveside service will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Sunbright Cemetery.
