I.J. Davidson

Mr. I.J. Davidson, age 80 of Lancing passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Life Care Center of Morgan County. He was of the Baptist Faith and saved at an early age. He was preceded in death by his parents: Isaac and Ella Smithers Davidson, Brothers: Lucian, George and James, Sisters: Christine, Zilphia and half- sister: Lola. One Sister, Lucille of Life Care Survives.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years: Thelma Jean Davidson
Children: Shirley Gooch (Jerry), Daniel (Carol), Charles (Jacquelyn), Allen (Linda) Davidson and Kathy Hamby (Terry).
Grandchildren: Amanda, Michael, Crystal, Joshua, Zachary, Sarah, Jazmin, Little Al, Katelyn and Dillon
Great Grandchildren: Tyler, Kaylin, Emma, Brooklyn and Candace.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will be Sunday at 2:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg with Bro. Bill Durham officiating. Interment will follow in the Smither Cemetery, Robbins
Pall Bearers will include: Jordan Hamby, John Landrum, Kevin Cross, Joshua Davidson, Michael Davidson and Jerry Gooch.
