Herbert Morris, of Wartburg

Herbert Lee Morris of Wartburg, TN, born January 7th, 1987 (age 31), passed away Sunday July 29th, 2018.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Delmer and Hopie Watson of Oliver Springs, and great-grandmother, Lula West of Cincinnati, OH.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Regina and Bryan Duncan of Coalfield; biological father, Herbert Phillips of Hillsboro, OH; adoptive father, Daniel Morris of Oliver Springs; son, Peyton and mother Kayla Morris of Wartburg; brother and sister-in-law, Tyler and Allisa Morris of Caryville, and Adam and Winni Morris of Coalfield; sister, Telisa Hall of Oak Ridge, and Latisa Morris of Harriman; grandparents, L.E. and Diane Phillips of Oliver Springs; nephews, Aiden and Mason Morris; niece, Annaleigh Hall; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will be Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Covington Baptist Church in Wartburg with interment to follow in the Covington Church Cemetery.
