Helen Liles

Helen Ruth Liles, age 74 of Petros, passed away Thursday December 13, 2012. A loving wife and mother, she is survived by her husband of 47 years; Roy Liles and their daughter, Melinda Hardin. She is also survived by one sister; Judy Long of Rockwood. Mrs. Liles continued to live at home with her husband during her illness which would not have been possible without the heartfelt support of many friends and family.

An active member of the community prior to her illness, Mrs. Liles belonged to the Petros Baptist Church and held office in OES Sunrise Chapter #364

Mrs. Liles was preceded in death by her parents: Hubert and Martha Kennedy Wyrick of the Fork Mtn. Community. Also awaiting her in Heaven are six siblings: Leslie, Lester and Delores Wyrick of Fork Mountain, Arnold Wyrick, Pauline Sexton, Eva Jean Bradshaw of Petros and One Grandson: Alex Hardin also of Petros.

The family will receive friends Friday December 14, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg. Eastern Star and Funeral Services will follow with Dr. Jim West officiating. Graveside Services will be Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 2:00PM in the Old Petros Cemetery.
