Harry "Red" Demor Davis, Sr. of Wartburg, TN

Harry “Red” Demor Davis Sr. age 88 of Wartburg, entered his heavenly home peacefully surrounded by family on March 29, 2018.  He was born on May 31, 1929 to the late Marion and Reppi Davis.  He loved the Lord, his family and friends.  He proudly served his country in the United Stated Navy during the Korean War.  He retired from Advance Transformer in 1994.   He was a long time member of Mossy Grove Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

Harry was married to the love of his life, Patsy Ruth Davis on May 22, 1954.  They were blessed with more than 63 years of marriage.  He is preceded in death by Daughter Marjorie Joanne Davis, Parents Marion and Reppi Davis and Brothers Marion Glenn Davis, James Davis.

He is survived by Wife:  Patsy Davis

Children: Diana (Edgar) Brown, Dennis (Ellen) Davis, and Harry "Buddy"  Davis Jr.

Grandchildren:  Ray Brown, David (Nikki) Brown, Holly Brown and fiancé Matt Davis, Sierra (Ryan) Hamby, Cassie (Brandon) Shields, Samantha Davis, Haley Hall, Shawn (Nikki) Davis, Courtney (Drew) Drummond

11 great grandchildren

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Quality Hospice for providing excellent care in our time of need.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 5-7 pm Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg.  Funeral services will follow at 7pm with Bro. Jim Disney officiating.  Graveside services will be Saturday, March 31 at 2 pm Mossy Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
