Harry Miles

Harry "Buster" Miles age 84 of Pine Orchard passed away Tuesday,
July 14, 2009.
He was a member and deacon of the Pine Orchard Baptist Church, which
he helped to build.
He was a United States Army Veteran having served during
WWII in Italy, France, Belgium,
and was awarded the Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars
He worked for TVA, operated a road grader for the county and was a farmer and wood worker.
Mr. Miles was preceded in death by parents; Ham and Lou Miles, brothers; Frank, Bill and Paul, sisters; Belle Forrester, Robbie Cole and Veda Cremer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years; Bo Miles.
Sons; Harry and wife Lavanna,
Joe and wife Tammy all of Pine Orchard.
Grandchildren; Clint Miles, Carla Smith and husband Randy, and Zack Miles.
Great-grandchildren; Colt and Lige Miles and Emily Smith.
Sisters; Geneva Johnson and husband Chuck of Freeport, IL
Edith Bowers of Dixson, IL and several nieces and nephews and host of friends

The family will receive friends Thursday, evening July 16, 2009
from 6 to 8:00 P.M. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg.
Funeral services will be held Friday July 17, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at
Pine Orchard Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Thomas officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Pine Orchard Baptist Church building fund.
