Mr. Harold "Clyde" Walker went to live with Jesus Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the age of 74 years old. Clyde as he was known by everyone has not only left his mark on the hearts of his friends and loved ones, but on the community as well. Many buildings around the community and surrounding counties are standing on a foundation built by the hands of Clyde Walker. Numerous brick and stones have felt the tap of his trowel as each one was carefully layed. He was never one to back away from a fight, "Bull" as he was known to everyone proudly served in The U.S. Army; 82nd Airborne Division. Clyde was proud of his community and his family. Just mention a name and he could tell you who their parents were as well as their grandparents. He loved to talk to everyone and made friends everywhere he went. Not only did he love his friends and family, but they loved him too. We will always miss him and it's heart breaking to let him go, none of us would want him to stay in this old world for he has received a promotion to live eternity with God our Father. Lastly, Clyde loved the Lord and was not ashamed to let it be known. Whether singing gospel music or witnessing to people on the job, Clyde Walker was a soldier in God's army.
