Harley C. “Fuzzy” Orange, age 75, passed away February 24, 2019. He was born June 28, 1943 to his parents, Minta and Harley Orange, Sr.
He was a member of the Sunbright United Methodist Church in Sunbright. He was a man of many talents and worked many jobs. To name a few he was a powder monkey, a roofer, track official, eye glass maker and many more. Building homes with three different presidents in several different countries, such as South Africa, South Korea, India, Philippines and several U.S. states for Habitat for Humanity. He shook hands with several presidents, governor generals and head of state officials. For his contributions to Atomic Speedway he was inducted into the “Hall of Fame” in 2016. He spent 5 years taking as many courses as possible at Roane State Community College. He enjoyed writing books, nonfiction as well as fiction. Fuzzy loved animals, especially his Greyhounds and loved working mules. He had adopted over 15 greyhounds and fostered more. Worked countless times with mules at East Fork and growing up.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nina Rhudy Orange; parents, Minta and Harley Orange, Sr.
He is survived by his sisters, Libby Young, Becky Dwarshuis and Kathy Pinkston; brother, Danny Orange and dear friend, DJ Wilson, many in-laws, nieces, nephews and special friends.

The family will have a memorial service Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunbright United Methodist Church in Sunbright.
