Glen McCartt

Glen Oplis McCartt age 70, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tn.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pleas and Annie (Silcox) McCartt of Sunbright, Tn. Brothers, James, M.D., Robert, L.A., John and Sammie. Sisters, Sally McCartt Robertson, infants, Emmie and Jane McCartt. Granddaughter, Keisha Willoughby.

Glen is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara (Jones) McCartt. Daughters, Kim McCartt and Donna McCartt Landrum and husband Scott. Son, Travis McCartt and wife LaRae (Burke) McCartt, 5 grandsons, Casey Willoughby, Derek Byrd and wife, Samantha (McDonald) Byrd, Cody Byrd and Isaiah and Isaac McCartt. 1 great granddaughter, Brylee Byrd and 1 brother, P.J. McCartt. Special brother of his heart, Clois Bowling, 7 sisters, June McCartt (Kelly), Ella McCartt (Smith), Gladys McCartt (Miller), Eva McCartt (Swint), Suzie McCartt (Moore), Betty McCartt (Fulks) and Phyllis McCartt Clowers. Many nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Pall Bearers - Casey Willoughby, Derek and Cody Byrd, Travis McCartt, Scott Landrum and Gabe Bertram.

Honorary Pall Bearers - Isaiah and Isaac McCartt, Clifford Jones and Clois Bowling.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 12, 2016 from 12 – 2 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright with Interment to follow in the McCartt Family Cemetery in Glenmary, Tn.
