Genevieve Morgan, formerly of Wartburg, TN

Genevieve Morgan of Pikeville, Tennessee formerly of Wartburg, departed this life for her eternal home on November 2, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Cordia Morgan; brothers, Richard and Wayne “Cotton” Morgan; son, Jeff; son-in-law, Greg.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori; son, Shon (Cindy); grandchildren, Lee and Shonna; great grandchildren, George and Charlie; brothers, James (Terrie), J.C. (Sandra), John (Rita); sisters, Rose, Wilma (Jack), Yvonne (Al), Gail (Jimmy) and a host of family and friends.

Ginny had a way of bringing fun and laughter to a gathering.  Family and friends always looked forward to having Gin around.  Graduate of the class of 1954, she still loved to attend reunions.

The family will have a graveside service Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Liberty Cemetery in Wartburg at 2:00 p.m. EST.  Liberty was the church where she grew up and became a member.  Her other church home was Faith Baptist in Pikeville where she made many friends.

We want to thank Amedisys Hospice and Betty and Milton who were a Godsend when we needed help.  Other caretakers were very much appreciated.
