Geneva Beatty, of Wartburg, TN

Geneva Ann (Newberry) Beatty, age 71, passed away April 2, 2020 at 7:25 a.m. in Chattanooga, TN.  She was born November 8, 1948 in Lancing, TN.

A loving mother who devoted her life to her family and teaching others.  She leaves behind three children, Melissa Beatty, Stephanie Beatty and Stephen Beatty all of Chattanooga, TN.  She also leaves behind her two grandchildren, Jonathan McPhetridge and Nathaniel Tennyson a host of family members in Wartburg.

She will always be remembered for her patience, kindness and her love for teaching.

In light of current events, the family understands that not everyone feels comfortable coming out to show their respects.The family will have a private graveside service, but will also be having a memorial service at a later date.

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:24.

Her children arise up and call her blessed.  Proverbs 31:28.
