Gary Wayne Inman, married November 14, 1970 to Daisy Mereses, is at peace in Heaven. He was a former resident of Spring City, TN (1980-2006). He worked at Suburban in Dayton, TN and retired from there in 2004.
Gary was a multi-talented man who lived to serve the Lord and his community. He was always available to help with projects both small and large. He was a friend one could always depend on. There was never a motor he couldn’t repair or a new project he couldn’t build, including parade floats; many of which were award winning. In his earlier years, Gary was part of the Wild Goose Racing Team, a family boat racing team, along with his brothers and sister: Edward, Stan, and Bonnie Inman, and over saw by their father and mother: Paul and Beaulah Inman.
Gary and Daisy were active, founding members of the Cherokee Trails Good Sam Club. He was an Army Veteran and a card carrying NRA member. Gary and Daisy are members of First Baptist Church of Sunbright, TN and have resided in Deer Lodge, TN since 2007.
He is survived by his spouse, Daisy Inman; children: David (Penny) Alzugaray, Leslie Alzugaray (Scott) Travis, Linda Inman (Bob) Elliot, and Anna Inman (Buddy) Smith; grandchildren: William (Hillary) Alzugaray, Hannah Alzugaray, Ashliana (Adam) Heilig, Alexis (Jordan) Craig, Korina (Quenton) Hyde, Dylan Smith, and Landon Smith; great-grandchildren: Kaeden Heilig, Owen Heilig, Gabriel Craig, Isiah Craig, Liam Alzugaray, Olivia Alzugaray, Jackson Zink, and Turner Zink.
The family will receive friends Saturday June 30, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Sunbright. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Hammonds officiating.
